Rates for 1:1 Therapy & Coaching

In an effort to create equitable models of therapy & coaching, my offerings are offered on a sliding scale structure.

These rates are based on what my colleagues with similar experience and credentials offer. Please consider your income and circumstances. This system relies on honesty, accountability and respect for the multiple realities of economic access and privilege that exist in our communities.

  • Being an out-of-network provider allows me to provide the highest level of care without compromising quality or confidentiality. While I do not bill insurance directly, I can provide you with a superbill or monthly statements that you can submit for direct reimbursement from your insurance provider.

Depending on your insurance plan, therapy services may be reimbursed in full or in part and can reduce the cost of therapy. You could also consider using HSA or FSA benefits towards the cost of therapy.

Prior to working together, I ask that you contact your insurance provider to see if they cover out-of-network, California-based Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs).

  • The federal “No Surprises Act” grants consumers the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. Under the law, health care providers are required to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for treatment services. The act also requires healthcare providers to inform their clients of this right. You can ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
